Bio:

I’m Enrique, a Social Work student committed to building a more just and inclusive society. Through my academic training, I seek to integrate both theoretical and practical tools that help improve people’s quality of life and strengthen community bonds. I’m particularly interested in the social impact of public policies and interdisciplinary work in vulnerable contexts.

I actively participate in outreach projects and community-based initiatives that promote reflection on collective values, equity, and social well-being. In parallel, I coordinate workshops focused on developing social skills and intervention strategies, contributing to transformative processes from an ethical and participatory perspective.

In my free time, I write content related to personal growth and resilience, sharing experiences and lessons learned that inspire others to see challenges as opportunities for meaningful change.

What inspired my career path

Reflection and questioning have always been fundamental pillars in my life, as they hold the essence of what has guided my path since ancient times: the pursuit of knowledge and a commitment to the well-being of others. I believe that ongoing critical reflection is a central tool in Social Work—not only as a basis for strategic intervention but also as a driving force for generating meaningful change in vulnerable contexts.

Through my family and community environment, I have come to understand that personal growth and mutual support are essential elements for holistic development, both individually and collectively. This experience led me to realize that dedicating my education, time, and vocation to supporting and empowering others is what truly fulfills me—both personally and professionally.

From this perspective, I embrace my role in the field of Social Work with a deep ethical responsibility, firmly convinced that all social transformation begins with the ability to listen, understand, and act from a place of respect and empathy.

My expectations for collaborating in TH+IN

I am committed to collaborating on creative and transformative projects within the TH+ network, with a strong focus on social justice and cultural development. With a background in Social Work, I understand that meaningful change emerges from collective efforts and dialogue among diverse perspectives that share a common goal: improving people’s lives.

My aim is to connect with passionate and committed professionals who are willing to challenge the status quo and, through research and social action, promote sustainable and inclusive alternatives. I seek to engage in initiatives that address structural issues with ethical sensitivity and critical thinking, contributing to the construction of a more equitable, empathetic, and conscious society.

I firmly believe that when our voices come together with commitment and coherence, it is possible to generate deep and lasting transformations in the communities we inhabit.
