I am Jonathan A. Sdrigotti, founder and CEO of TH+ INITIATIVE, a digital platform that transforms the way we conceive and develop research in the Social Sciences and Humanities. With over a decade of experience in the private sector, I have cultivated a strategic vision focused on driving global collaboration and turning knowledge into a catalyst for tangible change. My work merges academic innovation with an entrepreneurial approach, committed to finding solutions that challenge the social and economic structures that limit its impact.
Throughout my career, I have participated in international projects across Africa, Europe, and Latin America—experiences that have broadened my perspective and strengthened my commitment to social justice and innovation. From an early age, I have managed educational initiatives that integrate business strategy with academic vision, designing solutions that expand access to knowledge and create meaningful transformations.
At TH+ INITIATIVE, I focus on building a collaborative ecosystem where academics, entrepreneurs, and innovators come together to develop research with real impact. My goal is to foster an inclusive and accessible environment where ideas are not only shared but also translated into concrete actions capable of driving structural and equitable change.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I find inspiration in history, literature, and the arts—disciplines that stimulate my curiosity and shape my perspective on contemporary social and political challenges. I am driven by a constant desire to learn and improve, convinced that true transformation arises from collaboration, the exchange of ideas, and the connection between cultures. I believe in the importance of harmonizing personal and professional life, recognizing that every experience, no matter how small, can be the starting point for meaningful change.

What inspired my career path
My path towards Social Sciences and Humanities was born from a constant desire to understand the structures that have shaped society throughout time. My initial training in Law, with a particular focus on Roman Law and the History of Civil Institutions, allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how legal structures have influenced social development. However, it was in my transition to studying History where I truly discovered my vocation. Historiography and Social Sciences offered me a new perspective to understand the past as a dynamic tool that directly impacts contemporary realities.
Throughout my academic journey, I had the privilege of being guided by distinguished mentors such as Dr. Gustavo Masera and Dr. Gabriela Vásquez, who, through their academic rigor, inspired me to delve deeper into the critical interpretation of historical phenomena. This influence led me to create TH+ INITIATIVE, a platform designed to redefine research in Social Sciences and Humanities. My interdisciplinary approach aims to create an ecosystem of global collaboration, where knowledge is not only documented but transformed into real solutions for the challenges of the 21st century.
Today, my work is grounded in the belief that knowledge must be accessible, applicable, and oriented towards structural change—an approach that combines my studies in Law and my passion for History, allowing me to generate a critical perspective that goes beyond academia into effective social action.
Fun fact about me
A unique aspect of my journey is that I have had the honor of hosting numerous travelers and students in my home through cultural exchange programs that foster understanding and collaboration among different cultures. These experiences have not only enriched my personal life but also allowed me to establish deep connections with people from various parts of the world, generating a constant flow of ideas and perspectives. My passion for cultural exchange has been a constant in my life, leading me to explore over 30 countries, connecting with local communities and expanding my global outlook. However, one of the most revelatory and transformative moments in my education was my stay in Egypt, where I had the opportunity to witness the wonders of ancient architecture. In that context, I was able to gain a deeper appreciation for humanity's vast legacy and reflect on the transformative power of knowledge over our historical trajectory.
Work experience
My professional career spans law, history, and strategic project management. I began my career in the legal field, advising clients and supporting professionals in case structuring. Later, I collaborated with museums and research institutions, participating in projects focused on heritage preservation, academic dissemination, and historiographical analysis.
In the private sector, I have served as a Project Director, leading initiatives in process optimization, knowledge management, and the provision of specialized services. I have designed and implemented strategies to improve operational efficiency and strengthen organizational structures across various industries.
As the founder and CEO of TH+ INITIATIVE, I lead a platform that transforms research in Social Sciences and Humanities through innovative funding models and global collaboration strategies. This initiative has established partnerships with universities, NGOs, and government entities in Africa, Europe, and Latin America, fostering an interdisciplinary ecosystem with real social impact.
My experience in both the private and academic sectors has allowed me to develop a strategic management profile, integrating diverse fields of knowledge to create effective solutions to contemporary challenges.
My expectations for collaborating in TH+IN
I am particularly interested in collaborating with members of the TH+ network on research addressing the interrelationship between technological advancements, history, and their impact on contemporary society. My focus is on the practical application of historiography to understand and anticipate the effects of the social transformations we are experiencing, particularly those driven by the digital revolution. This interdisciplinary approach leads me to seek partnerships with professionals who share the vision of integrating historical knowledge with innovative solutions to contemporary challenges, with a particular emphasis on social justice, sustainability, and adapting to technological changes.
Additionally, I am interested in participating in projects exploring how social and economic structures are being reshaped by technology, viewing this process as a new phase of transformation in the history of humankind. My goal is to contribute to an academic approach that not only analyzes the historical consequences of these changes but also offers practical and applicable responses that can help generate a positive social impact in the medium and long term.
I look forward to connecting with other members who share these interests and who are willing to engage in active collaboration that promotes the exchange of ideas, critical analysis, and the generation of concrete proposals to address today's global challenges.
